OUR DATA / CONTEXT IS PART OF THE PRODUCT

Follow the clues.
Know the source.

A useful starting point comes with an honest view
of what the data can tell you.

01 / APP DISCOVERY

The public app landscape.

App discovery starts with the Apple iTunes Search and Lookup APIs. Cards show public metadata such as developer name, category, rating, version, and the store listing.

Google Play public search is used to find possible Android counterparts. Matching is automated and can be incomplete or incorrect; check the name and developer on the destination listing. Android-only discovery is not yet supported.

02 / ASO OBSERVATIONS

Where an app appears in search.

Positions describe the order returned by Apple’s public search response or Google Play’s public website at collection time. Native store results can differ by region, device, personalization, and timing.

Related terms begin with public Google autocomplete suggestions. We test a limited set against each store and show up to ten terms where the app was observed, ordered by observed position. This is a sample, not an exhaustive keyword report or a ranking of the most-searched terms. Search volume is not supplied.

Any difficulty score is a derived rating-count signal. It is not a platform-provided keyword difficulty measure. Use all of these clues to guide further research.

03 / CONVERSATIONS, ADS & CREATORS

See the wider context.

Organic research searches public Reddit posts, with Hacker News search used when Reddit cannot be read. Name matches are leads; they do not establish ownership or complete coverage.

Meta research links to the public Ad Library. Page attribution and ad snapshots depend on the configured Meta source. If that source is unavailable, the interface shows its status; missing data does not establish that there are no ads.

Creator research opens an external web search using the app and developer names. Search results should be checked before attributing an app to a person or studio.

05 / YOUR SEARCHES & INQUIRIES

A little care with your context.

Search terms and app names are sent to the public sources used for your research. The current prototype records source, time, query URLs, and summary observations in its local evidence log.

The contact form prepares an email locally in your browser. You choose whether to send it through your email provider. We do not receive the form until you send that email. External source links follow their destination’s privacy practices.

Do not include confidential product details in public searches. For questions about an inquiry you have sent, contact hello@codezenstudios.com.
